Burtons’ 50th
Larry and Joan (Leeper) Burton, of Maryville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 11. An anniversary cruise to the Bahamas is planned at a later date.
The couple were married Oct. 11, 1962, in Ringgold, Ga. The Rev. Pullen officiated.
Their family includes children Mike (Sharen) Burton, of Maryville, and David (Tammy) Burton, of Maryville. They have four grandchildren, Ashley Caleb, Joshua and Katie Burton, and one great-grandchild, Kylie Burton.
Mr. Burton is a retired designer/artist. Mrs. Burton is retired manager of the Larry Burton Gallery.
They attend Rio Revolution.
