Henrys’ 60th
James and Shirley (Tate) Henry, of Alcoa, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 24.
The couple were married Oct. 24, 1952. The Rev. Ralph Miller Sr. officiated.
Their family includes children Dana Evans, of Smyrna, Mary Ferguson, of Alcoa, Phyllis Hardin, of Maryville, Loyce Mayes and Judith Knighton, both of Alcoa. They have 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Henry is retired from West Chevrolet after 50 years of service. Mrs. Henry was employed at Levi Strauss and Co.
They attend Robinson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
