Lovinses’ 50th
Burl Lovin and Shirley (Mikles) Lovin, of Maryville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 11 at Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Maryville. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
They request that gifts be omitted.
The couple were married Nov. 30, 1962, at Forest Hill Baptist Church, Maryville. The Rev. Harley Smiley officiated.
Their family includes children Rodney and wife Amy Lovin and Randy and wife Charae Lovin, all of Maryville. They have four grandchildren, Thomas and Grant Lovin and Hannah and Chloe Lovin.
Mr. Lovin is retired from ALCOA Inc. Mrs. Lovin is retired as a special needs assistant from Maryville High School and is also retired from The Gateway to Independence.
They are active members of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. They also enjoy following their grandchildren’s sports and other activities.
