Molers’ 50th
David and Ida Ruth (Curtis) Moler, of Rockford, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with their family on Thanksgiving Day.
The couple were married Nov. 22, 1962, at Friendsville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Carl Ware and the Rev. Marcus Cardwell officiated.
Their family includes children Phil Moler, of Louisville, and the late Suzie Moler. They have two grandchildren.
Mr. Moler is retired from Associated Electric Motor Services, worked for Tennessee Armature and National Coil, and served in the United States Navy. Mrs. Moler is retired from Associated Electric Motor Services and worked previously for ALCOA Inc.
They are choir members at Friendsville United Methodist Church and avid Lady Vols fans. Mr. Moler enjoys golfing, and both enjoy spending time with their granddaughters.
