Shockeys’ 50th
Tom and Jean (Willa J. Cornwell) Shockey will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. March 9 at Maple Grove Baptist Church, 3201 Carpenters Grade Road, Maryville. Friends, relatives and their church family are invited to attend.
The couple were married March 9, 1963, in Chicago. Pastor Seales officiated.
Their family includes children Thomas Shockey Jr., of Illinois, and Paulette Miller, of Indiana. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Shockey is retired from Republic Steel. Mrs. Shockey is retired from South Chicago Hospital.
They attend Maple Grove Baptist Church.
