Teffetellers’ 65th
Eldredge and Frances (Cooper) Teffeteller, of Maryville, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 16 at Chilhowee View Community Center. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
The couple were married Dec. 19, 1947, at the home the Rev. Dot Bryan. The Rev. Bryan officiated.
Their family includes children Connie and husband Jim Bradley, of Maryville, and Doug and wife Debi Teffeteller, of Maryville. They have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Teffeteller is retired from ALCOA Inc. after 44 years of service. He owned Six Mile Grocery Store on Montvale Road for several years. Mrs. Teffeteller worked for Levi Strauss for a few years and did taxes. She is a homemaker.
They attend Piney Grove Baptist Church, where have been active on two mission trips, vacation Bible school, building project and teaching Sunday School. Both are active at Chilhowee View Community Center and serve on the board.
