Army Reserve Pfc. Alecia L. Hicks has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. She is the niece of April Johnson, of Maryville and the sister of Melissa Copen, of Friendsville. Hicks graduated from William Blount High School in 2012.
