Kelley studies abroad in Borneo
Lucas Kelley, of Walland, a senior at Centre College, studied abroad in Borneo during Centre Term, the college’s three-week winter term.
The trip to Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo introduced students to the third largest island and most biodiverse region on the globe. Daily hiking expeditions and an extended camping trip targeted pristine tracts of tropical forest and a rugged terrain rich with natural formations and endemic species.
Kelley is the son of Michael and Melinda Kelley of Walland and is a graduate of Maryville High School.
