Rogers celebrates 83rd birthday
Leroy Rogers, of Maryville, is celebrating his 83rd birthday with family. He was born Nov. 16, 1929 in Friendsville. His family includes sons Randy, of Alcoa and Phil, of Wears Valley. He has one grandchild.
Rogers is retired from Blackwood Insurance Associates. He attends First Baptist Church of Maryville. He is a University of Tennessee football fan and a Lady Vols basketball fan. He enjoys keeping up with his fellow Korean War comrades.
