Sam Greene named compliance coordinator
Sam Greene, a native of Maryville, has been named the athletic department’s compliance coordinator at Cumberland University. He is a former Cumberland football player and graduate assistant.
Greene was a four-year starter at all three line spots for the Bulldogs, playing in 35 career contests with 31 starts. He was a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete and earned Mid-South Conference Scholar Athlete accolades three times. He served as a graduate assistant in the athletic department during the 2012-2013 academic year. He lettered three years for coach Scott Meadows at William Blount High School, earning All-Regional honors as a junior and senior for the Governors.
Greene earned his bachelor’s degree in general business from Cumberland in May 2012 and received his master’s in business administration from Cumberland during the summer of 2013.
