Walker to celebrate 80th birthday
Charles “Wooden Head” Walker, of Maryville, is celebrating his 80th birthday. Friends and family may stop by between 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday to offer birthday wishes. He was born Jan. 20, 1933, in Maryville to the late Barney and Fannie Walker. He was married to the late Bobbie Walker.
Mr. Walker’s children include daughter Kathy Youngberg, of Knoxville and Tanya Lund, of Maryville. He has two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was employed at Kern’s Bakery for 52 years.
