West celebrates 80th birthday
Frieda Jane Lambert West, of Maryville, is celebrating her 80th birthday today. She was born Oct. 31, 1932 in Blount County to the late Homer and Ennie Jane Miller Lambert. She was married to the late Walter Ray West Sr. She had a celebration in early September at a home on Tellico Lake with her five children, their spouses and her grandchildren.
Her family includes Kathy and Don Kagley, Walt and Terrie West, Barbara Ann West, Melinda and Tim Best, Kent and Christy West, all of Maryville. She has nine grandchildren.
Mrs. West is a member of Clover Hill Presbyterian Church.
