BB&T Alcoa branch robbed, suspect in custody

A suspect is in custody after he allegedly robbed the BB&T bank branch at 109 Associates Blvd. in Alcoa today.

Alcoa Police were on the scene at about 5 p.m. The incident caused traffic to be backed up northbound on Alcoa Highway.
