BREAKING Accident on Montvale Road sends victim to hospital

A one-vehicle accident on Montvale Road near Blockhouse Road this afternoon sent a victim to the hospital.
Blount County Sheriff’s Officers, firefighters and emergency personnel were dispatched to the accident at a little before 2:30 p.m. The white vehicle crashed into a utility pole and flipped over on its top. It was not known how many people were in the vehicle.
Traffic on Montvale Road was backed up due to the accident.
