BREAKING High wind watch issued for mountains, foothills in Blount County

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch
for the mountains and foothills of Blount County, to remain in effect from Monday evening through
Tuesday morning.
Winds between 25 and 40 mph, with gusts in excess of 60
mph, are expected.
Winds of this magnitude can can cause proprty damage and
power outages. Motorists, especially those in high-profile vehicles, should use caution around the
mountains and foothills.
