Bank robbery suspect still at large

Police are still looking for the suspect who robbed the Capital Bank in Maryville Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:10 p.m., the suspect entered the Capital Bank at 403 Foothills Mall Drive. He submitted a demand note to the teller and demanded money. The subject was described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, average build, brown hair, scruffy facial hair, an olive or tan Carhartt-style jacket and blue jeans.
After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Those with information is asked to call the Knoxville FBI at 865-544-0751 or the Maryville Police Department at (865) 380-1388. A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
