A North Carolina woman was killed in a motorcycle accident Monday afternoon on “The Dragon,” according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report.
According Trooper Cory Russell, Judy Hatley Harris, 62, of Wilmington, was traveling southbound on Highway 129 on Mile Marker No. 4 riding a 1996 Yamaha, along with her husband, who was riding in front of her.
She cut into a wide curve, and her motorcycle dropped off the right hand side of the roadway and could not recover.
