Man shot during domestic dispute; one person in custody

One man was taken into custody after Blount County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Alcoa police officers responded to a shooting in an apparent domestic dispute this afternoon at 814 Marcaro Lane in Maryville.
Law enforcement responded to the home at approximately 4:45 p.m., and one person was taken to the hospital after suffering gunshot wounds to the head and an arm. He was transported via LifeStar to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
