Retired coach Story donates to MHS project
From Staff Reports
Retired Maryville High School teacher, coach and
administrator Don Story has donated $50,000 to the Maryville High School football stadium
improvements project.
Maryville City Schools has allocated nearly $500,000 for the project,
which has been named “Red-to-Black” by the donation committee.
Maryville High School is
working toward fully repaying capital improvements funds being used to complete grading, improve
stadium drainage and add a synthetic playing surface to the field. Officials are also installing a
video scoreboard display, and part of Story’s donation will go toward the display.
