Suspect sought in Capital Bank robbery on Foothills Mall Drive

Maryville police officers and Blount County Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed Capital Bank at 403 Foothills Mall Drive in Maryville this afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:15 p.m. It was not known if the suspect acted alone, if they had a weapon, or how much cash was taken.
No employees or customers were injured.
