TBI adds Knoxville man wanted in shooting death of pregnant girlfriend to Top 10 Most Wanted list

NASHVILLE -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added a
Knoxville man wanted in the shooting death of his pregnant girlfriend to the state’s Top Ten Most
Wanted list in an effort to locate him and take him into custody on charges related to the incident
that left her dead.
According to a TBI release, Brandon Scott Donaldson,
22, last known address 3115 Marble Hill Blvd., is wanted by the Knoxville Police Department on one
count of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree
murder.
The morning of Feb. 13, Donaldson and his girlfriend, Marcia
Crider, 19, were having a domestic argument at a residence on Porter Avenue when Crider’s mother
went to the home to help her daughter. As Crider and her mother were getting in a vehicle to leave
the residence, Donaldson walked outside the house, pulled a gun and started shooting at the vehicle.
Crider was hit by gunfire and died shortly thereafter at a nearby hospital. An autopsy revealed
Crider was 10 to 13 weeks pregnant when she died. The Knoxville Police Department obtained enough
evidence in the shooting incident two get warrants for
Donaldson.
According a release from the TBI, Donaldson’s criminal history
includes a drug charge involving cocaine. He received three years' probation and is also wanted for
violating that probation.
Donaldson is described as a black male with
black hair, brown eyes and also goes by “L” or “Brandon Diggs.” He is 6 feet tall and weighs about
180 pounds.
Donaldson is considered armed and dangerous and should be
approached with extreme caution.
