Leah Elizabeth Ballard, daughter of Timothy and Brooke Ballard, of Maryville, is engaged to marry Shane Steven Cutshaw, son of David and Kathi Cutshaw, of Maryville.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Eugene and Berniece Ballard, of Knoxville.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Tina Teffeteller, of Maryville, the late Raymond S. Teffeteller, Ethel Cutshaw, of Maryville, and the late David L. Cutshaw.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Maryville High School. She is employed by Loxottica of Knoxville.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of Heritage High School and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a degree in geography. He is working on a master’s degree from North Carolina State. He is employed as a post-bachelor research associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
