Mary Katherine Cleghon, daughter of Tom and Lori Cleghon, of Chattanooga, is engaged to marry Jeffrey Scott McElhaney, son of Don and Ann McElhaney, of Maryville, at 4 p.m. Dec. 8 at Seagrove Beach, Fla. Invitations have been sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Robert Ong, of St. Augustine, Fla., the late Alice Ong, and the late Tom and Madeline Cleghon.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Roy and Blanche McElhaney and the late Clarence and Evelyn Williams.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She is employed as a media planner at The Johnson Group, Chattanooga.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is employed as project coordinator with Access America Transport, Chattanooga.
