Polk-Adair

“Chelsea” Elizabeth Polk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Polk, of Greensboro, N.C., is engaged to marry Burton “Trevor” Adair, son of Mr. and Mrs. Burton Adair Jr., of Maryville, at 5 p.m. Oct. 27. Invitations have been sent.

The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Polk and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Kelso.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Catherine Culp, of Maryville, the late Bruce Culp, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Burton E. Adair.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, with a major in finance. She works as a real estate appraiser with Taylor and Associates, Greensboro, N.C.

The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, majoring in restaurant administration. He works as general depot manager, Greenlight Bio Fuels, Greensboro, N.C.
