Man arrested in Knox bank robbery

Authorities have announced the arrest of a man suspected of robbing the Enrichment Federal Credit Union in Knoxville Wednesday.
Daniel E. Lopez, 39, of Knoxville, was taken into custody Friday evening, according to a news release from the Knoxville FBI.
Friday’s arrest was the result of a joint investigation between the Knoxville Police Department’s (KPD) Major Crimes Unit and the Safe Streets Task Force team, comprised of investigators from the Knoxville FBI, KPD and Knox County Sheriff’s Office. Lopez will face a federal bank robbery charge.
