Sheriff investigates death in Walland

Authorities are investigating a death in Walland after responding to a Blair Loop residence Friday afternoon.
Officials responded to a home in the 700 block of Blair Loop after dispatchers received a report of an injured person at 1:24 p.m. Friday. They found an unidentified person deceased when they arrived.
Blount County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Marian O’Briant said the department is investigating and that no other information is yet available.
