Suspect sought in Domino’s Pizza robbery in Maryville

Maryville police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Domino’s Pizza at 1811 W. Broadway Ave. in Maryville Wednesday afternoon.
According to Maryville Police Chief Tony Crisp, officers were dispatched to the restaurant at about 2 p.m.
Two employees said a white male entered the store, pulled out a knife and demanded money. The employees complied and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Crisp said the suspect fled behind the building and headed south. Maryville officers were assisted by a Blount County Sheriff’s Office’s K-9 unit, searching for the suspect through a neighborhood off Cherokee Heights Drive.
The unit tracked the suspect through the parking lot and into the neighborhood, but soon lost track.
The suspect was described as 6-foot-2, with reddish hair and wearing a hoodie.
