From Staff Reports
Drug Task Force investigators arrested three people and cited three others in a drug bust at a Maryville home Thursday evening.

Tennyson Leon Daugherty III, 34, East Harper Street, Maryville; Sandra Renee Hoyle, 39, Grant Street, Alcoa; and Justin Lynn Williams, 21, Martin Street, Maryville, were all arrested on possession and drug paraphernalia charges.

Hoyle was charged with possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to resell, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance (Diazapam) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on $27,000 bond.

They are all scheduled to appear at a 9 a.m. Wednesday hearing in Blount County General Sessions Court.
Police said they seized about five ounces of marijuana, numerous Schedule III and IV drugs, several legend drugs — those substances not scheduled but which still require a prescription — drug paraphernalia including scales, pipes, grinders and rolling papers and more than $700 cash.
Three individuals were also cited during the search, the Sheriff’s Office said. Brittany Lee Wade, 20, and Samantha Nicole Hoyle, 18, both of Monroe Avenue, Maryville, were cited with possession of drug paraphernalia. William Edward Hoyle, 64, also of Monroe Avenue, Maryville, was cited with simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance (Diazapam).
Those cited are scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. March 28 hearings in Blount County General Sessions Court.
