KNOXVILLE — A Walland man was arraigned in Knox County General Sessions Court Monday on attempted first-degree murder charges after he was accused of shooting a man five times last week.
Kevin Michael Hardin, 22, Jacob Drive, allegedly shot at Allen Hill last Tuesday evening at Southmont Apartments on East Moody Avenue in Knoxville, according to investigators.
Hardin was allegedly seen running from a vehicle as he shot Hill, and several shell casings were recovered from the scene, investigators say.
Hill was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment of several gunshot wounds. He was treated and released, according to the hospital’s marketing department.
Hardin was also charged with reckless endangerment. He is being held in the Knox County Detention Facility on $755,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing Aug. 14.
