Allen M. Wright went home to be with his Lord January 12, 2013, at Fort Sanders Medical Center. He was surrounded by his wife of 52 years and their two children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion & Mollie Wright; grandson, Jacob Allen Wright; infant sister, Willie Mae Wright; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Major and Bonnie Keith; brothers-in-law, Lonnie Keith & Glenn Keith. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Wright; daughter, Connie Wright; son & daughter-in-law, Keith & Maria Wright; grandsons, Dylan, Jared & Chad; sisters & brothers-in-law, Betty & Charlie Walker, Linda & Herman Hearon, Kathy & Patrick Jenkins; brothers-in-law, Gordon Keith, James Keith & wife, Judy; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2013, at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service at 7 p.m. with Dr. Charles Bailey and Rev. Billy Carrigan officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Laurel Bank Church Cemetery for the interment.
