Andrew Beecher Dunsmore

Andrew Beecher Dunsmore, age 46, of Baltimore, Md., went to his heavenly father on Monday, December 24, 2012, at his parents’ home in Maryville. Andy courageously lived with gastric cancer, extending love and care to family and friends despite his suffering. Andy is survived by his parents, the Reverend Beecher and Sarah Dunsmore of Maryville; his sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Dunsmore, Rockville, Md., and Julie Dunsmore, Blacksburg, Va.; a brother-in-law, John Wilson; nephew, Nicholas Wilson; and niece, Elizabeth Dunsmore, all of Blacksburg, Va. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life worship service at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, Maryville, with the Rev. Gordon Goodgame and the Rev. Charles Neal officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the University of Maryland Greenbaum Cancer Center, 100 North Greene Street, Suite 600, Baltimore, MD 21201, or the University of Tennessee Cancer Center Campaign for Hope, 2121 Medical Center Way, Knoxville, TN 37920. Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. You may sign and view the guest book at http://www.gentrygriffey.com
