Arthur Harrell ‘Bud’ Curtis
Arthur Harrell “Bud” Curtis, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 22, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was a native Blount Countian and a member of Liberty Christian Church. He was a loving, devoted father and a kind and compassionate man. He was also well known at the hardware stores in Blount and Knox counties. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Geneva Curtis; brothers, Clifford Curtis, and Earl Howard. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Missy and Randy Myers, Angie and Perry Morin; grandchildren, Randi Marie Myers, Elijah Myers, Benjamin Morin, and Lydia Morin; greatgrandson, Augustus Whitt; sisters, Vassie Curtis and Wayne Grindstaff, Jenea Curtis Millsaps, and Ruth Curtis and Leonard Dailey. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. The graveside and interment service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012, at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Barry Clanton officiating.
