Bertha M. Blair Jones
Bertha M. Blair Jones, age 92, of Greenback, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the home of her daughter. She attended Unitia Free Holiness Church. Preceded in death by first husband, Layman Blair; second husband, Dan Jones; daughter, Geneva Thompson; several sisters and brothers. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, James Dean and Priscilla Blair; daughters and sons-in-law, Rosalind and Kenneth Tipton, Jeanette B. Mitchell, Brenda and Roger Dockins; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Bernita Woodby; stepson, Ted Jones. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Ben Stiles officiating. Family and friends will assemble following the service at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
