Bessie Effler, age 91, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Baptist Health Care in Lenoir City. Preceded in death by husband, William Arthur Effler; daughters, Princella Effler and Geneva Myers; grandson, Doug Myers; three sisters; one brother; three stepsisters; two stepbrothers. Survived by daughters, Pat Wolfe and husband James of Sevierville, Doris Gardner and husband Charlie of Louisville, Tenn., Willa Effler of Georgia, Naomi Hughes and husband Jim of Gallatin, Tenn., Sharlene Warren of Abington, Va.; son, Tim Effler of Sevierville; stepsister, Beulah Gooden; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012, at Smith West Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
