Betty June Robinson McGill, age 80, of Sevierville, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, February 20, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. McGill was a member of Valley View Baptist Church where she taught Bible school for many years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. McGill loved cooking, canning, gardening, sewing and serving others in her community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Rispy Robinson; brothers and sisters, Della Eastridge, Maggie Welch, Linda Keck, Satra Braden, Ollie Keck, Zelpher Williams, Joe Robinson, Rev. John Robinson, Bill Robinson, and Charlie Robinson. Survivors include loving husband of 59 years, Andy Loy McGill; daughter, Sandra Enloe and husband John; son, Ricky McGill and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Carissa Mitchell and husband Dan, Joshua Teaster, Caleb Enloe, Cory McGill, Kendra McGill; sister, Florence Alston and husband Ray; brother, Rev. James Robinson and wife Haze; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Tenn. Inc., 2270 Sutherland Ave., Suite 202, Knoxville, TN 37919, or Sevier County Health Care Center, P.O. Box 5349, Sevierville, TN 37864. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church. Rev. Preston Joslin will officiate.
