Beverly Ann Thomas Gasche Bales
Beverly Ann Thomas Gasche Bales, age 69, of Maryville, formerly of Norwalk, Calif., and West Branch, Mich., passed away March 2nd 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was an avid gardener. She enjoyed to parlay and debate politics with others. She was preceded in death by her husband James Marvin Bales, her father Asil Ray Thomas, mother Myrtle Ruth Thomas, brother William Ray Thomas and sister Carol Sue Denstedt. She was also survived in death by her children: Timothy and Christy Gasche of Greenback, Tenn., James and Colinda Gasche of Friendsville, Tenn., Wallace Gasche and Sydney Davis of Lenior City, Tenn., Russell and Angela Gasche of Lenior City, Tenn., Amie and Michael Wheat of Maryville, Tenn., and Shawna Gasche and Brian Anderson of Maryville, Tenn. Also by her siblings: A. Ruth Ferguson of West Branch, Mich., M. Estella Hastie of Latrobe, Pa., Bess Engel of West Branch, Mich., Sharon and Bruce Jameson of West Branch, Mich., Linda Hiltz of West Branch, Mich., Gale and Michael Race of Manchester, N.H., Robert Thomas of Rose City, Mich., Deborah and John Brookshire of Maryville, Tenn., John Thomas of West Branch, Mich., and Michael and Norma Thomas of Whittemore, Mich. She had 31 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She also had two dearly close friends Judith Townsend and family and Lillie Whaley and family. She was a sister, mother, grandmother and best friend. She will be missed more than anyone will ever know. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
