Billy Franklin Thompson
Billy Franklin Thompson, age 60, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed his 1968 Camaro “Old Blue” and spending time with his dogs. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Levi Thompson; brothers, Harold and Clarence Thompson. Survivors include his wife, Georgianna Thompson; daughters, Brandi, Angel and Shannia Thompson; grandchildren, Katelyn, Gabby and Levi; mother, Tina Thompson; brother, Jimmy Thompson and Karla Dame; aunts, Ermie, Peggy and Betty Keenan; sister-in-law, Delores Thompson. He was a beloved and fun uncle to Tammy, Jimmy and many more nieces and nephews. His special friends were Darlene Hodson, Denise and son Brad Ingram, Plase and Tonya Castle and James Kelly and Charlie. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
