Carolyn Nuchols, 61, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Leonard Parton; sisters, Helen Joyce Bryant, Prascilla S. Julian, Linda K. Parton. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Angelia Knipe, and Amy and Stanley Franse; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Gail Eubanks; brother and sister-in-law, James and Alice Parton; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Harold Watts; grandchildren, Candice Kanipe, James Kanipe II, Whitney Kanipe, Dustin Kanipe, Darian Franse, Makayla Franse, Megan Franse, Devin Michael, Trevor Eubanks, Nicholas Eubanks; great grandchildren, Caidence Garren, and Jaiden Humphrey; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Rev. Benton Frank, and Rev. Bob Nuchols officiating. The family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville for graveside service. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the funeral home to help with expenses.
