Carolyn Sue Dodd Thomas, age 62, of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Carson Island Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, George and Frances Dodd; brothers, George and Benny Dodd. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Janice Powell; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Tim Stewart. grandchildren, Tyler Stewart, Macy and Brady Powell; brothers, J.R. Dodd, Robert Dodd and wife Sue; sisters, Barbara Lowery, Nell Connatser and husband Paul. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Smith Chapel with Rev.
