Charles ‘Big Lee’ Lawson
Charles “Big Lee” Lawson, age 31, of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012. He was the second oldest of five children to Vicki Lawson and Douglas Lawson, Sr. Lee was born in Knoxville and grew up in Maryville. He worked at Volunteer Movers and was a well-known bouncer in the downtown Knoxville area. Lee was an avid bodybuilder and loved to drive import cars. He often encouraged everyone around him to “live life to the fullest,” knowing that tomorrow is never promised. Lee was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Lawson; and uncle, Bill Lawson. He is survived by his fiancée, Adriana Mannon and her children Isaiah Mannon, Calista Mannon, Jonah Mannon and Jasmine Mannon; daughter, Lille Lawson and son Quentin Lawson; mother, Vicki Lawson and Jimmy Breeden; father, Douglas Lawson, Sr. and Sandra Lawson; brother, Douglas Lawson, II, and Monica Byrd; sister, Crystal Lawson and Shaun Burchfield; sister, Glenda Lawson and Tony Audett; grandmother Mildred Harper; several aunts, many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial service will be held at Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, 308 South Long Hollow Road, Maryville, on Thursday, November 8, from 6-8 p.m. Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville is in charge of arrangements.
