Charlotte Jacqueline Burns Campbell
Charlotte Jacqueline Burns Campbell, age 76, of Maryville, departed this life Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Parkwest Hospita1, Knoxville. Charlotte was born December 26, 1935, to Clyde A. Burns and Cora Lee Woodby Burns at Elizabethton, Tenn. Charlotte retired as a Journeyman Electrician from Alcoa Aluminum Co. in 2010, after working there for over 32 years. She was a member of Local 309 of the U.S. Steel Workers Union. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ted Campbell; her father and mother; and two brothers, Leroy and Tony Burns, all of Maryville. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Eugene Campbell; her daughters, Donna Sue Thomas and Denise Ann Fagg of Maryville; grandsons, Jesse Campbell of Sevierville, Bradley and Michael Thomas, and Daniel Fagg of Maryville; brother, Clyde A. Burns, Jr. of Walland; sisters, Margaret Dunlap of Lenoir City and Sue Porter of Eagle Point, Ore. A memorial service will be held at Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, 3120 Pershing Street, Knoxville, at 6 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012, with Pastor John Gargis officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knox Area Rescue Ministries, P.O. Box 3310, Knoxville, TN 37927-3310.
