Christopher James Smiley
Christopher James Smiley, age 21, of Lenoir City, formerly of Maryville, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Fort Loudoun Medical Center. Christopher, affectionately known as ”Smiley,” will be remembered as a good friend, brother, and son. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Carolyn Smiley; father, Brian Smiley; sister, Cari Michelle Presley. Survivors include his mother, Leanna Amburn; brother, Steven Presley; sisters, Christen Smiley, Stephanie Presley; uncles, Chris (Debbie) Tambor, Larry (Lisa) Smiley, Tim (Angela) Smiley; aunt, Leighann (Tracy) Underwood; many cousins and other relatives and friends. A celebration of Christopher’s life will be 8 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013, in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Amburn officiating. Mr. Smiley will be cremated after the ceremony. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at Dotson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help assist with his funeral expenses.
