Her children and grandchildren treasure her many gifts of love provided through her cooking, sewing, and crafts. Visits to “Nannaw and Pop’s” house were met with aromas of hot baked apple turnovers and caramel cake. The family wished to express special appreciation to BMH Hospice for their care and assistance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon’s International, Blount County South Camp, P.O. Box 4035, Maryville TN 37802-4035, in Mrs. Givens’ memory.
