Dan Martin, age 51, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013. Dan was a very kind, loving, and giving man who had a love for life. His family, his wife, and son, were the most important things in his life. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing or befriending, Dan knew right away what a loving, kind and giving friend he was. He was the greatest man on Earth. His handshake was binding, his smile was contagious. He is preceded in death by father, Lawrence Harrison Martin; grandmother and grandfather, Fannie Bell and Lawrence Everett Martin. He is survived by wife, Teresa Martin; son, Jarrison Lee Martin; aunt and uncle, Elizabeth Ann House and Mickey House. The funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013, at Maple Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Clifton Hearon officiating. The graveside and interment service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at Maple Grove Baptist Church.
