Dr. Howard V. Brabson
Dr. Howard V. Brabson, age 87, of Ann Arbor, Mich., formerly of Knoxville, peacefully passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013. He was a retired professor at the University of Michigan and president emeritus of the National Association of Black Social Workers. Preceded in death by his father, Alfred L. Jones, Jr.; mother, Fannie R. Brabson; and wife, Rudiene Houston. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Student Parish, 331 Thompson St., Ann Arbor, Mich., 48104.
