Edna Mae (Garner) Prince
Edna Mae (Garner) Prince, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care, Maryville. She was a graduate of Alcoa High School and attended Toledo University, Ohio. She was an administrative assistant at General Motors and ALCOA Inc. She was an artist and a creative writer, a charter member of Blount Art Guild, a member of Maryville-Alcoa Homebuilders Association and a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, Maryville. Preceded in death by spouse, Robert E. “Bob” Prince; parents, Hayse and Thelma (Rogers) Garner; sister, Dorothy Garner; and great-nephew, Ryan Savage. Survivors include sister, Wilma Garner Eubanks; nieces, Susan Eubanks Robinson, Sandra Eubanks Savage; nephew, Gary Eubanks; great-nephews, Drew Eubanks, Jared Cross; great-niece, Rylie Brooke Savage; special friends, Billie Moss, Pauline Walters, Jan Lafon, Phyllis and Jim Borden. Our family appreciates the kindness, compassion and care at Blount Memorial and Kindred Transitional Care, Maryville. A private family service will be held at a later date.
