Edna Margaret King
Edna Margaret King, age 75, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Shannondale Nursing Home in Knoxville. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and retired from ALCOA. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Shamblin; sister-in-law, Judy Shamblin; and brother-in-law, Alan Jordan. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Leanne and Brian Fletcher; sons, David and Steven King; two grandchildren, Jeremy Renninger and wife, Danielle and Megan Breeden and husband, Travis; three great-grandchildren; sister, Meredith Jordan; brothers, Crowder Shamblin and wife, Gerri, Vernon Shamblin and Carl Shamblin; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012, at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Bob Lawson officiating. Entombment will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Grandview Mausoleum.
