Glen W. Pilkey, age 54, of Maryville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Nettie Pilkey; sister, Mary Sue Jones; brother, Troy Pilkey. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jeff Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Glen Wayne Pilkey Jr. and wife Amber; five grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Eddie and Brenda Pilkey, Roy Lee Pilkey, Tommy Ray Pilkey; sisters, Betty Buchanan, Anna Mae Anderson; girlfriend, Thelma McCormick; special friend, Rose Finley; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Joseph Hartman officiating. The graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holston College Cemetery.
