Hazel Blanch Cope
Hazel Blanch Cope, 84, formerly of Maryville, went home to be with Jesus Christ, January 7,2013, at Willis-Knight Hospital in Bossier City, La. She is preceded in death by husband, Lloyd Cope; great-grandson, Gabriel Miller; parents, Jake and Millie Garland; and many beloved brothers and sisters who have gone on before her. She is survived by son, Owen Lloyd Cope of Maryville; daughters, Patty (Rick) Austin of Haughton, La., Beatrice Cope, MaryCharles Cope, Joyce Ann (Arnold) Green, and Amanda (Jason) Lanagan; grandsons, Nickoma (Jennifer) Watkins, Seth Cope, Jimmy and Chris Green, Elijah and Noah Lanagan; granddaughters. Tanya (David) Prater, Kathy (Jessie) Eisenhower, Kasey and Emily Cogburn, Heaven, Sydney, Betty, and Lily Lanagan; great-grandsons, Justin Blair, Andrew Prater, Gideon Miller, and Garrett Watkins; great-granddaughters, Khloe Watkins and Makala Eisenhower; and cousin and best friend, Bonnie Spurting, all of Maryville; sister, Sylvia (Darrel1) Galde of Friendsville; brothers, Fred (Judy) Garland, and Wiley (Johnnie) Garland of Walland, J.C (Francis) Garland of Maryville, and Gene (Trula) Garland of Townsend; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Donnie Morton at Grandview Cemetery for family and friends at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013.
