Helen Mae Grant
Helen Mae Grant, age 89, of Townsend, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Asbury. She was a life-long member of Kinzel Springs Baptist Church and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Grant; and daughter, Libby Grant Myers. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jerome Vananda and Wanda and Stan Blair; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Michelle Grant; grandchildren and spouses, Tammy and Clark Roberts, Misty and Scott Haven, and Pvt. Zachary Grant; great-grandchildren, Tori Roberts and Lauren Haven; sister, Ruth Brown; special friend and neighbor, Mike “Pudden” Nuchols; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Dean Mullins officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment, Rev. Gary Pittman officiating.
